The Pfister Hotel is on the search for a Hotel Operations Intern to join our team for the summer of 2024. Our internship program is designed to provide students with hands-on experience within our Rooms departments including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Concierge, and Loss Prevention. As a Rooms Intern, you will rotate throughout the hotel's rooms departments while working directly with our management team.

Built in 1893, The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee has been a hotel icon for nearly 130 years. As one of the best hotels in Milwaukee and the Midwest, we continue to celebrate a grand tradition of gracious service and impeccable style. The Pfister Hotel has received AAA Four Diamond hotel status for 48 consecutive years. The hotel is one of only 11 properties throughout North America to maintain the AAA Four Diamond designation since the inception of the Diamond Rating program in 1976.

What will you be doing?

* Shadow our Rooms management team.

* Learn several roles within the hotel.

* Interact with customers and take action to solve problems as they arise.

* All other duties as assigned.

What do you bring to the role?

* Must be pursuing a Bachelor or Associate's degree in Hospitality or related field.

* Previous hospitality experience is preferred.

* Must be able to handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently.
