As aPaint Processor - SC, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, monitor and operate filling and packaging equipment
Communicate with maintenance and management on issues concerning filling lines
Ability to understand instructions for proper filling requirements
Comply with all safety rules and standard safety practices
Keep workstation area and housekeeping at company standards
Maintain and improve production line efficiency standards through teamwork
Produce quality product in the required time frame
Perform initial draw-down for color and cleanliness
Perform quality test to check fill weights, proper labeling, and coding
Perform proper cleaning of filling equipment
Ability to lift cases and pails of products and load onto filling line as necessary
Complete daily records as required
Assist in training other employees
Complete other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
Ability to follow detailed instructions and record progress
Ability to work safely
Must be available to work overtime and some Saturdays
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts, hoists, scales, and other equipment
Wearing protective gear including gloves, safety glasses, face shields, ear plugs, hard hats and other PPE as required
