Job Description:

NetSuite Sales Solutions Consultant - Manufacturing and Supply Chain

We are seeking an energetic individual to provide pre-sales support for our NetSuite Manufacturing and Supply Chain solutions, which include Inventory, Warehouse Management and Manufacturing. The right person must be a highly motivated individual with the experience, aptitude, and interest to learn these offerings in-depth and position them with both existing customers and prospects in competitive evaluations. The position involves all the traditional pre-sales tasks, most importantly delivering compelling demonstrations that address prospect requirements in a way that leaves the customer eager to move forward with Oracle NetSuite.

Two Key Objectives:

  • Core Product Coverage - Apply NetSuite Manufacturing and Supply Chain solutions to address a variety of customer requirements in a compelling way.
  • Extended Product Coverage - Keep up with other Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management solutions to expand product knowledge and the ability to cover more opportunities.

Core Product Coverage

Primary responsibility will be to cover NetSuite Manufacturing and NetSuite Wholesale & Distribution applications, will need to understand the "touch points" of other related solutions. Examples of products that fall into this category are Order Management, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Planning and Manufacturing Applications.

As domain expert, will be responsible for not only supporting standalone opportunities, but also working with peers on more complex opportunities. In this capacity, you will conduct all typical pre-sales activities, such as: respond to RFPs; meet with functional stakeholders to understand how they're conducting their functions today; extract value drivers to formulate points of view regarding return on investment; deliver compelling demos; and through this series of interactions, create for the customer a vision for a better tomorrow with NetSuite solutions.

Extended Product Coverage

Once you have mastered the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management suite, you will learn other solutions based on a combination of your interest/experience and NetSuite's customer demand.

A broader set of knowledge will translate into more opportunities to contribute, which should make the job more interesting and rewarding. As such, while staying on top of new capabilities in NetSuite's core solutions, you will also be expected to add more products to the portfolio. For example, NetSuite's Warehouse Management and Supply Chain Planning solutions are commonly positioned with the Manufacturing suite. So why not learn Supply Planning and Demand Management so you can showcase a more comprehensive end-to-end Supply Chain flow?

Due to the high degree of involvement in virtually every aspect of an opportunity, this position requires strong business and IT acumen; a good understanding of all SCM/ERP/Manufacturing business functions and the way they interoperate; awareness of other related business functions, including CX and Finance; and the ability to manage complex, multi-step projects involving multiple internal and external groups and teams.
